How does it work?

Mail us your approved choice of paper* that you plan to use for your special project, we will hand calligraph your items, then mail them back to you. We service & ship worldwide.

Please note: We will not begin your project until we receive your mailed materials and your completed guest list.

*If you want to make sure your choice of paper quality, brand, weight, etc. fits within our approved paper requirements, click on the “Get Started” button and add in the comment section information about your paper in question. This will ensure we will be able to provide our best handwritten work on high quality materials.*

TIP: As a general rule, the thicker the envelope, the better it is for quality handwritten calligraphy. Normally, paper is sold showing its corresponding weight (pounds).

How soon should you book your calligrapher?

If you are looking to have your save-the-date and/or wedding invitation envelopes professionally addressed by us, we want to make sure your preferred spot is available on our design calendar. We highly recommend you submit your inquiry as soon as possible even if your booking date is 4-6 months before your anticipated mailing date. Reception day-of pieces and any calligraphy-related projects should be booked as soon as you know you want to work with us as well. This is a popular service and booking early is strongly advised. Waiting last minute will result in your preferred spot being taken.
Our custom calligraphy services turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, not including shipping time, for each project (contingent on our availability).

If you need your project sooner than the standard turnaround time, please email us as soon as possible. We may be able to accommodate your timeline for an additional rush fee.

when is Payment due?

A 50% non-refundable retainer from your custom calligraphy project total is due at the time of booking to secure your spot on our calendar. Upon receipt of your materials + completed guest list, the remainder balance will be billed at this time before project begins. All standard orders ship out FedEx Ground or International.

your ink choices

You may pick a color (shown below), provide a Pantone Uncoated swatch number, or you may mail a swatch sample of your preferred color along with your materials and we will custom match your color as closely as possible. Since mixing is done by hand & human sight, colors may not be a 100% match. Please note that colors shown may vary slightly from what you see on your screen because every computer monitor and device is calibrated differently.

we do not accept custom calligraphy orders for wedding logos, signage, vows, poems, or other individually commissioned pieces of this nature.
